Course Description

Recommended Prior Learning

10 Credits in L1 COM 5 of those credits must come from an externaly marked assessment. Students should be familiar with financial statements which is covered in L1COM and this will help them use the software XERO when processing transactions.  


Accounting gives students the tools to make real life financial decisions in a constantly changing and uncertain world. During the course you will learn to make use of appropriate communication tools and skills to process, report and interpret information for small or medium entities that operate Accounting subsystems.  You will also learn how to use Accounting software (XERO) when processing transactions.

Assessment Information

All are individual Assessments, with one Assessment using a software to process transaction where students will need devices to complete this Assessment successfully. They will have to sign in (Xero software) and complete the Assessment. Teacher will guide them through the whole process.
